What is Mentoring Plus?

Mentoring Plus provides 1-1 mentoring for vulnerable young people in BaNES aged 7 - 21 who are facing major challenges such as poverty, family breakdown or poor mental health. Without support these young people are at risk of disengagement from school, emotional harm or anti-social behaviour.

We also provide many fun, skills based activities for the young people, including drama, music, art, film, sport and a residential farm visit. The results are improved confidence, realising their potential, engagement with school and the wider community.

Our vision is to have a community where all young people thrive and we aim to achieve this by inspiring our local community to raise the aspirations of our young and most vulnerable.

Minerva Bath Rowing Club works in partnership with Mentoring Plus to support their work by running courses for the young people and also fundraising.
