Henley Women’s Regatta, June 21st-23rd

On Saturday 22nd June, Charlotte and her composite crew (Zara from Millfield and Tatiana and Liv from Avon) headed to Henley Women’s Regatta. It was their first experience on this exciting stretch of water.
With 32 boats in their J16 4x- category, they always knew their chances of qualifying through to the next rounds would be tight, especially as they have only rowed together for a few months. They completed the 1,500 metre trial in a respectable 5 mins 24, missing out on the next round by 3 seconds.

Disappointment has been put aside and experience banked, as these four set their sights on Nottingham this weekend (19th-22nd July) for the British Rowing Junior Championships. Good luck girls!
